Fashionista have released their 'Most Influential Personal henryophopho' list for 2016, an annual tally of the people who are #killingit (that's a technical term) in the fashion blogging sphere. If anything this year's list is proof that the blogging industry is stronger than ever, with many of the most influential names building iron-clad relationships with some of the biggest brands in fashion and beauty, while others have launched successful labels of their own.








THIS IS HOW MUCH BLOGGERS ACTUALLY MAKE
So how do you judge a vague label like 'influential' in actual, tangible terms? This is something Fashionista take very seriously, and it's why this year they have excluded some of the most popular names from past lists. Leandra Medine (Man Repeller) Garance Doré and Emily Weiss (Into the Gloss), for example, have been excluded as their sites "have become far more than personal style blogs".







THE FRESH FACES YOU'LL BE TALKING ABOUT IN 2016
Factors that went into deciding the remaining nominees included social media following (obvs), brand extensions (read: starting your own line of shoes), Google news searches and "It factor" (basically, how many brands want to work with you and how much they'll pay). The resulting list? The 20 most influential personal style bloggers in the world.
