how to drive traffic to ebay

Here are a few, five to be exact, simple and free (other than your time) tips to help you increase traffic to your auction listings and/or eBay Store.  These suggestions simply point out tools and features that eBay offers, some of which might not be familiar to new eBayers.
5 Simple Ways To Increase Traffic to Your Listings

1)  Keep inventory in your store, but also post some of your widgets in core auctions. Auctions receive more exposure in eBay searches, and people who are interested in your auctions may click the link to your store too.  Even if the widgets don't sell at auction, the listings advertise your store.

2)  Make sure you are creating/using your eBay 'Me' and 'My World' pages. Both can link to your store and/or list the widgets you have for sale.  Also, the My World pages are indexed by internet search engines (helping you attract potential buyers who aren't even logged into eBay).

3)  Create an eBay Blog and write posts related to your store and the widgets you sell.  Every blog posting automatically contains a link to your auction listings or store.  So do the comments you post on your own, or even someone else's, blog.  And, just like the My World pages, eBay Blogs are indexed by internet search engines (helping you attract potential buyers who aren't even logged into eBay).

4)  Write eBay Guides and Reviews related to the widgets you sell in your store.  Your Guides and Reviews automatically contain links to your auction listings or store - just another way to advertise your widgets!

5)  Check out eBay's 'Want It Now' page. Want It Now is basically like a giant listing of want ads.  Users looking for particular items can post an ad on the page at no cost.  Sellers can use the page to search for buyers.  A user may be looking for just the widgets you have for sale... right now!

Of course, the best way to get a lot of people viewing your auctions and/or store listings is to be sure you are selling widgets that are in high demand!  That's something I really can't help you with though.
Oh, and one bonus, common sense tip:  Most buyers find your listing by using eBay's search feature.  Be sure to fully utilize the title of your listing by using all 55 characters (or at least as many as possible), include important keywords (think about what you would type in if you were searching for one of your widgets), and don't waste space with things like "L @ @ K" and other useless terms that people never use when they search for anhow
